SeriousMind recently had the opportunity to visit SAEK ALFA Thessaloniki and meet with students interested in artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and digital innovation.
We would like to thank Panagiotis Dimos, Academic Head of Business Administration at SAEK ALFA Thessaloniki, and the wider SAEK ALFA team for the invitation and their warm welcome.
During the session, students explored the story behind SeriousMind, from research and early experimentation to the development of interactive digital products. The discussion focused on how a digital escape room can become more than entertainment: it can become a purposeful environment for learning, problem-solving, and skills assessment.
In a well-designed interactive scenario, participants are asked to make choices, manage information, solve challenges, and respond to changing conditions. These behaviours can offer a different perspective from traditional questionnaires or static forms. They may help organisations understand how a person approaches a challenge, while also giving participants a more engaging experience.
We also discussed the broader role of artificial intelligence in everyday life. AI is not only about algorithms or automation. Its value depends on how responsibly it is designed, how clearly it serves people, and whether it solves a meaningful problem.
Moments like this are especially important for the next generation of professionals. Students do not only need to learn about emerging technologies; they need opportunities to ask questions, experiment with ideas, and imagine how they can build their own solutions.
Thank you again to SAEK ALFA Thessaloniki for the opportunity to share the SeriousMind journey and exchange ideas with such an engaged audience.
